Supporting Capidea’s acquisition of Guardique​

Kvadrant Consulting acted as the exclusive commercial advisor to Capidea in the acquisition of a majority stake in Guardique Products A/S

From Nordic Roots to European Ambition

Guardique designs and manufactures high-performance protective cases and custom foam complemented by Peli Products distribution – for industry and the public sector.

Formed in 2023 from Linde & Larsen and Flightcases International, it operates from Rødovre, DK, with production in Poland and blue-chip customers including Danish Defence and the Swedish Police.

With Capidea as majority owner, Guardique is looking to scale across Europe while strengthening it’s digital capabilities and consolidating in a fragmented market. 

About Guardique

Guardique was established in 2023 through the merger of Linde & Larsen and Flightcases International and is today one of largest manufacturers of professional protective cases, storage equipment and custom foam solutions in Europe. The company serves a broad B2B customer base across industry and the public sector and compliments own products with distribution right of Peli Products. The business is primarily Nordic with around two-thirds of sales in Denmark and the remainder across the EU and selected international markets. 

About Capidea

Capidea is a Danish private equity fund making long-term investments in competitive small and medium-sized Danish companies. Capidea was established in 2006 and has a total capital commitment of approximately DKK 3.6 billion / EUR 473 million in four funds. Capidea invests in companies within trading, distribution, service, IT and manufacturing. Since 2006, Capidea has acquired 34 companies and Guardique is the eighth investment in Capidea’s latest fund, Capidea Kapital IV K/S, which was established in April 2023 with a total capital commitment of DKK 1.3 billion / EUR 175 million.

It has been rewarding working closely with Capidea, Henrik Kristian Linde (CEO) and Kell Wedell Serup (CCO) and the rest of the Guardique team to dive deep into the commercial engine and growth potential for Guardique. It quickly became clear that they were operating in a growing market, and they have a strong position operationally and from a product standpoint. The majority of the time we spent on working in depth with their commercial engine to outline the optimal growth case for Guardique. We truly made it hands on with a clear roadmap and really strong case for growth
